Shingles Coating is an Oak Ridge Foam & Coating Systems brand. Oak Ridge manufactures and distributes polyurea membranes, spray foam, and adhesion primers, and supplies the roofing contractors and applicators who install them.
Shingle restoration has a reputation problem, and it was earned. The category has been full of thin acrylic coatings sold on recoat cycles, sprayed over roofs that needed replacing, by crews that skipped the primer over asphalt. When those jobs fail, the failure gets attributed to the idea rather than the execution.
Our position is simple. The idea is sound — on the right roof, with proper preparation, with 7001 Primer as a bleed-block, and at real film thickness. On the wrong roof it is not a cheaper option, it is a delay with a cost attached. We say so, and we would rather a contractor walk a job than call us about it in two years.

Restoration coating is not a replacement for your tear-off business — it is a way to say yes to work you currently price yourself out of. Low-slope sections, detail-leak roofs, outbuildings, occupied multi-unit buildings, and solar-panel roofs are all jobs where a full tear-off is disproportionate and a coating is straightforward.
We supply material at wholesale, help with equipment selection — Graco Reactor E-20 or E-30 class or equivalent — and provide spec support and training through your first roofs. We will also help you build the qualification checklist you use on inspections, because the money in this work is in choosing the right roofs.
