What to Send
Three photographs. A close-up of the shingle surface taken on the roof — close enough to see whether the edges are lying flat or curling. One of the area where it leaks. One of the whole roof from a distance.
Four facts. Approximate roof age, square footage, slope, and how many layers of shingles are on it. If you do not know the layer count, say so — a roofer can check at the rake edge in ten seconds.
One more thing: tell us about the attic. Ventilated or not, and whether you have ever seen condensation, frost on the nails, or damp insulation. It changes the answer.
Contractors and distributors: include your region and volume and we will attach the wholesale schedule, plus the qualification checklist we use on inspections.
